PostSecret

A friend from Nebraska, Drew, actually told me about this blog. People send postcards to this one guy with their secrets on them and he posts them to a blog. Makes you feel better about yourself, I think, remembering that everyone is human.

waiter rant

This site was present on blogger.com's list of notable blogs. If you're a waiter, I'm sure it's really relatable, but even if you're not, it's still a great blog. He writes really well.

I got a link to Jay's site through a blog that I often frequent. He has girlfriend now, thus a life, so he doesn't update as much, but most of his stuff is pretty funny.

More Than Toast

The Glenn made me DL this really cool Anime Music Video a couple of weeks ago. If you like Anime, REAL anime, not just the kiddy stuff, then this is pretty cool. Anyway, it was the song "Yesterday" to clips of Cowboy Bebop, which is an awesome series. But of course, they have a lot more videos than just that one.

Harry Potter: Wizard Challenge

Along the lines of...boredity...I decided to add this site. If you've read the books, they have this quiz. The questions go on and on. It's addictive. Anyway, it's the best quiz site for the books I've seen. (Me being a big dork, I've actually looked for HP quiz sites...) The site asked anyone who wanted to, to send in quiz questions for HP. That's why there are so many. There are more each day, too. Anyway, the questions aren't like super-easy or boring, like a lot of sites.

As I was watching the movie Harry Potter, I became somewhat infatuated with the actor who played Oliver Wood. Coincidentally, so did Becky. We're so alike! Anyway, this is his official site.

Oliver and James Phelps

While watching Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's/Philosopher's Stone, the Glenn noticed that the boys who play Fred and George Weasley have an astounding resemblance to Clint Eubanks, this boy she knows nothing about and has only met on two occasions for about half a day. She is not as infatuated with him now, as she was before, but she doesn't forget his face. I have never met him. Anyway, I decided to check out their site (through Sean's), and I thought it was neat. They seem very nice. This is a fansite I found. Their official site is on the fritz right now...

DeadJournal.com

If you want an online journal, there are several sites you can go to. Tripod has a weblog, but it's not as easy to manage. Though I do have one. If you don't feel like messing with html, tripod's weblogs are nice, but deadjournal is a good site, too. It's the same as livejournal.com, except it's free, and you don't have to have some stupid access code. Coincidentally, I also have a deadjournal account.

I have been experimenting with which online journaling site is best. Which is why I have two journal sites at the moment. In any case, this is my deadjournal site.

Sexism in English

I got so bored in English class that Allyson and I were reading those stupid Prose Reader books, and what's sad: they're more interesting than the class is. One of the sections was about Sexism in English, and the essays proved to be quite interesting. (May be a bit biased)
